About Adoramus

 ADORAMUS born of the desire to share with the world the work done by Portuguese Monasteries and Convent. These communities spread from north to south including islands create unique products and some delicious.

ADORAMUS intends to disclose the uniqueness of handmade products produced by the communities of the Monasteries and Convents. The products are diverse, distinct, limited and exclusive. These monasteries and convents preserve and reinvent ancient monastic traditions, is present in the history of Portugal. 

In essence ADORAMUS project is the result of the work of these communities, which rises within the time allocated in the Divine Service. The Rule for Monasteries and Convents observed sets for different times of the day Prayer and Work. In this short period of time devoted to work, born from the hands of monks and nuns, friars and nuns, among others: sweets, biscuits, liquors, artwork, etc. from Divine inspiration.
With the dissemination and promotion of monastic products, ADORAMUS wants to help Monasteries and Convents to survive and to continue to support those most in need, being a pillar of faith and charity in communities where Monasteries and Convents are inserted.

Monasteries and Convents belong to different orders, with charisma and unique stories of great religious and human value. These singularities, resulting in the production of handmade products greatly appreciated.

ADORAMUS aims to bring together the largest number of Monasteries and Convents Portuguese, traversing the country from north to south and islands, providing all the result of the work of these communities, showing the vitality and dynamism of contemplative communities in special.

ADORAMUS want thereby, from a dignified manner, disclose the existence of very significant number of monasteries and convents of contemplative life, which are one lamp of faith, the cloistered life.
Due to its handmade nature, quantities are limited, asked understand if some product out, whether single or only a few production units.

ADORAMUS will do everything to provide as soon as possible the products, as well sending to their destination. In the case of a product temporarily exhausted, we will do everything for its replacement with as soon as possible, given the origin of the products, their manufacture may take a while, since our time is not the time of the Monasteries and Convents.
